Porcelain veneers are thin shells of porcelain that are bonded onto individual teeth, in order to change the shape or color of the teeth. They are considered more conservative than porcelain crowns, because they require very minimal tooth reduction prior to placement. For many patients, this is the ideal method of improving the appearance of their front teeth.
